亞伯拉罕的信心
The Faith of Abraham

一. 順服神的呼召 Obeying the call of God

1. 呼召的意义---从世界分别出来归於神
   The meaning of God’s call--- to separate us from the world unto God
   
   
2. 神的呼召是信心可靠的基础
   The call of God is a sufficient ground for faith
   
   

二.  信心的操练---住在迦南如同客旅寄居的 The exercise of faith---Lived in Canaan as a stranger and a pilgrim

1. 他要忍受人们不合理的对待，同时也感谢地接受人的善待，但是内心却一直注视天上的家
   He had to bear men’s unkindness patiently, receive any favors thankfully, and fix his heart upon the heavenly home
   
   
2. 他依靠神的智慧，顺从神的旨意
   He depended upon God’s wisdom and submitted to God’s will

三. 等候那座有根基的城—我们安息的所在 Looking for the city which has foundations--our resting place

1. 这根基是耶稣基督自己和祂的义
   The foundation is Christ Himself and His righteousness
   
   
2. 这根基牢固，永存，不动摇，属天的
   It is a firm, heavenly, everlasting, unshakeable foundation

四. 信心的能力---撒拉因信胜过自己的不信 The power of faith---Sarah’s faith prevailed over her unbelief

1. 不单在困难中仰望神，也要在不可能情形時信靠神
   Do not only look to God only during the difficulties, but trust in God in spite of impossibilities
   
   
2. 2. 原先的失败全被遗忘，只记下最终的得胜
   Early failures are forgotten, but the later victory are recorded

五. 信心的試驗---因信献上独生儿子以撒 The test of faith--- By faith he offered up his only begotten son Isaac

1. 信心藉著行为显出，并且藉著行为，信心得以完全
   Faith leads to actions, and by those actions, faith is perfected
   
   
2. 2. 对人说，死结束了一切希望；对神说，是复活大能运行的机会
   To men, death is the end of hope; to God it is but the occasion to exercise the power of resurrection
