使徒们殉道的故事 （中英对照）

主耶稣基督为成就神的救恩计划，甘愿舍身为全世界人类赎罪，被钉死在十字架上。那些跟随主的门徒，在他被捉拿之际，大多数都惧怕逃走。但在主耶稣流血赎罪的大爱激励下，及复活升天的明证下，这些人不但到普天下去传福音，见证耶稣基督是神，其至为主牺牲，完成了把基督与基督教连结在一起的使命，就好像一粒麦子，落在地里死了，结出许多子粒来。

　　虽然圣经中并非详载使徒们传道和殉道的事迹，我们却可在许多“经外作品”或教会遗传中，追寻这些可歌可泣的故事。十二使徒中除卖主的犹大自杀及约翰安然去世之外，其余的使徒都喝下了主的苦杯，荣耀而勇敢为主捐驱，开殉道之先河。
